Support our Laboratory

The Laboratory of Virology is an academic laboratory involved in translational research. As such, it has to autonomously obtain the necessary funds to develop its scientific ideas and research projects.

Most of its funding comes from national or European calls. But you can make a contribution too! Our laboratory accepts and thanks the generosity of private donations intended to support its research projects. Your donation will be directly used to invest in technologies, reagents, and instruments employed in our experimental activities.

Supporting the Laboratory is easy:

1.      Fill out and sign a letter of intent for your spontaneous donation and make it out to:

"Dear Prof. Massimo Terzolo, Director of the Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences, Regione Gonzole 10, 10043, Orbassano (TO)" indicating the subject of your request, and a short text in which to specify the recipient of the donation and your personal details. You can reach out to us to receive a draft of the letter of intent.

2.      Send this letter by email to ricerca.medsanluigi@unito.it and/or direzione.dscb2@unito.it.

3.      Wait for your request to be approved by the Department Council.

4.      You’ll be contacted with all the details for the donation.

Your contribution to Research will also be recognized through a written acknowledgement within the scientific articles through which we communicate the results of our research to the scientific community and to the world.

Finally, if it pleases you, write us a letter to explain the reasons that prompted you to donate, or just get in touch with us: we’re very interested in knowing those who believe in our mission and support us with such passion!
